What is Body Control Pilates?

Absolutely! Beginners are very welcome. Whether you're completely new to Pilates or returning after a break, classes are designed to help you progress at your own pace in a supportive and friendly environment.

Beginner Mat Pilates introduces the fundamental Pilates principles and exercises, helping you build confidence and develop good movement patterns.
Mixed Ability Mat Pilates is suitable for anyone regardless of Pilates experience, with options, layers, and progressions offered throughout the class so everyone can work at an appropriate level.

In-person mat Pilates classes take place at LunaSecret Studio in Morningside, Edinburgh. I also offer live online classes via Zoom and private 1:1 Pilates sessions.

In-person mat Pilates classes canbebookedindividuallyfor £14 or as a 7-week block for £91, which covers all seven classes. Booking as a block gives you a regular weekly place and allows us to build and progress your Pilates practice over the course.
Online classes can be booked individually for £12 per class, giving you the flexibility to join when it suits you.

Don’t worry. I know that sometimes life gets in the way! If you can’t make one of the classes in your block, just let me know and I’ll offer you an alternative makeup so you don’t have to miss out.

Not at all. Pilates is suitable for many people, regardless of fitness level or flexibility. Exercises can be adapted to suit different abilities, allowing you to progress safely over time.

Yes! Private 1:1 sessions are available in Morningside, online, or in some circumstances at your home. Sessions are tailored to your individual goals, whether you're new to Pilates, recovering from an injury (with appropriate medical guidance), or looking to refine your technique.

Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Mats are provided but you’re welcome to bring your own. Water is always a good idea too!
